SCADE Solutions for ARINC 661 Compliant Systems are for creating both ARINC 661-compliant Cockpit Display Systems (CDS) and User Applications (UA). The SCADE Solutions for ARINC 661 Compliant Systems are built on top of our market leading products, SCADE Suite®, which is used for developing User Applications, and SCADE Display®, which is used for developing symbology and ARINC 661 displays.

With SCADE Solutions for ARINC 661 Compliant Systems, aircraft manufacturers, CDS developers and avionics UA developers can ensure ARINC 661 compliance and dramatically increase productivity while achieving the highest level of graphical quality and the safety considerations that must be obeyed when certifying these applications under DO-178B up to Level A.

The SCADE Solutions for ARINC 661 Compliant Systems consist of three products:

• The SCADE Widget Designer for ARINC 661 Compliant Systems - enables CDS suppliers to build their ARINC 661 widgets, and associated look and feel, as SCADE Suite and SCADE Display models. It includes a default Widget Library, containing all ARINC 661 standard-based widgets, with the flexibility to edit, modify and re-generate them at any time.
• The SCADE UA Designer Environment for ARINC 661 Compliant Systems, including:
  • SCADE UA Pages Creator for ARINC 661 Compliant Systems - enables UA developers to create ARINC 661 UA pages by rapidly assembling ARINC 661 Widgets
  • SCADE UA/Server Communication module for ARINC 661 Compliant Systems - enables developers to co-simulate their UAs and the created ARINC 661 pages
  • SCADE Server creator for ARINC 661 Compliant Systems (PC implementation)
• The SCADE UA Definition File Generator for ARINC 661 Compliant Systems - allows for generation of ARINC 661 standard XML and binary Definition Files from the description of ARINC 661 pages, with its DO-178B level A Certification Kit
• Additionally, the SCADE Server creator for ARINC 661 Compliant Systems and associated source code license enables users to port their server implementation onto the embedded target.
